The JMP 2020 update report on WASH in schools, "Progress on drinking water, sanitation and hygiene in schools: special focus on COVID-19" presents estimates of basic drinking water, sanitation and hygiene services in schools from 2015 to 2019, and implications for ensuring safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. The report drew upon a total of 814 national datasets covering the period 2000-2020, and includes estimates for 173 countries.
